The second paper in our History Research Seminar series for
this semester will take place this Wednesday (18 October) at 4.30pm in
Lipman 121. Our speaker is Dr Annie Tindley from Newcastle, and Annie will
be presenting a paper titled:
‘I prefer to establish myself in my own colony’: the
translation of aristocratic ideologies – land and governance in Highland
Scotland and Canada, c.1867 – 1914.'
