On Wednesday, 11 January, Giles Scott-Smith from the University of
Leiden will give a paper in the department’s Staff-Postgraduate
Seminar Series. Prof. Scott-Smith is a renowned historian of
international relations during the Cold War era, with a particular focus on
Western anti-communism and the ‘cultural Cold War’. He will speak
on the subject ‘Contested Internationalisms: The UN Information Office and
Imperial Transition’. The talk will take place in Lipman 0026, the
lecture theatre in the basement, at 4pm. All are welcome.
